Project Engineer (Oil & Gas Sector)

Our client, a market-leading pump manufacturer in the Oil and Gas sector, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in West Yorkshire following another successful year.

Key Responsibilities:

•Coordinate workshop overhauls, spares manufacturing, and site activities, ensuring adherence to EHS, quality, and production standards.

•Maintain high-quality workmanship and client communications.

•Manage the timely delivery of workshop repairs and ensure compliance with commercial commitments.

•Prepare workshop documentation, condition assessment reports, quotations, and tenders.

•Procure materials and manage subcontractors to meet delivery requirements.

•Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure project progress.

•Review contracts and work scopes, ensuring cost control and accurate reporting.

•Manage order books and assist with invoicing and job closure.

Skills & Experience:

•HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with commercial awareness.

•Strong understanding of rotating equipment, especially pumps and motors.

•Experience in project management and customer-facing roles.

•Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in technical documentation.

•Ability to read technical drawings and comprehend mechanical concepts.
