Lead Project Manager (Nuclear)

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager to join a well-established engineering business based near Glasgow. The successful candidate will lead an experienced projects team, overseeing several high-profile Nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•Take overall responsibility for the delivery of Nuclear projects, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost meet business standards and procedures.

•Review and approve monthly progress reports, ensuring scope, schedule changes, and delays are fully addressed.

•Write proposals for variations and successfully negotiate with clients to reach agreements.

•Organise and attend both internal and external meetings (national and international travel required).

•Coach and mentor project team members, identifying opportunities for further training and development.

•Actively seek business development opportunities in the Nuclear sector.

•Continuously improve project processes and procedures, recommending broader business adaptations.

•Liaise and coordinate with the workshop and test teams to ensure timely project execution.

Skills & Qualifications:

•Proven experience in a Lead or Senior Project Management role.

•Strong technical background with knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, valves, motors).

•Excellent leadership and communication skills.

•Minimum HNC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.

•Strong commercial knowledge and experience managing project costs.

•Prince 2 or similar project management qualifications are preferred.

Salary- £60,000- £70,000
